- my father is going to war and me my brother and mom have to leave!
- Your mother and I are leaving.
- Maria is a peasant who has two sisters, a mom, dad and she has a best friend named Rose. Maria takes care of farm animals.
- The crusades are going on and rose is leaving because her dad will fight in the war. This is the 6th crusade.
- I got a letter... Dad dies from the plague and mom is coming back!
- People had to fight for the holy land. Sadly Maria's parents are leaving for the Crusades.
- King Jon raised the taxes so he was forced to sign the Magna Carta. This didn't effect Maria's life.
- The Plague or Black Death is a deadly sickness that killed many. Sadly Maria's dad died from it.
- This was life for Maria. You can see what is was like living during the middle ages.
