- Did you guys hear that too?! The power's out in all of our houses.
- Welcome to Maple Street! The best neighborhood in town. It's always been busy here, there isn't a second where the activity dies down. It must be the most cheerful place in town, filled with bliss. It was late on a September evening, the air was chilly. Les Goodman was standing by his car, Charlie was chatting with Steve. It was perfect, I could only hope it would stay this way forever.

- I don't know how that happened, I swear! You can't just accuse me of such things. I myself am confused.
- Oh god, what is that? A meteor? It's getting closer! I could hear the cry's of kids and the panic in the adults voices but it was all tuned out when, BANG!!!!
- falling action
- The next thing we knew cry's and screams of worry were breaking out. Exhausted, Tommy ran up to us. Through shaky breaths he told us about the power going out. That's when Mr. Goodman's car suddenly started up all by itself. Everyone's attention turned to him.
- resolution
- Everyone started accusing Mr. Goodman of being the culprit of everything going on in Maple street. A woman claimed he would stare at the sky late at night, but Mrs. Goodman countered that it was due to his insomnia. Everyone began to accuse each other. That's when a figure covered in shadows began walking forward.
- Charlie stepped up aiming his gun firmly at the shadowed man ahead. He fired, as the man fell forward the light revealed that he was none other then Pete Van Horn. Charlie killed him! The mob went crazy, their accusations picking up.
- Some claimed it was Pete's fault for shooting an innocent man. Others said it was Tommy's fault as he was the one to spot the object in the sky, some even accused Mr. Goodman because his car started abruptly. In the end, calling out faults and accusing others would get us nowhere. Our suspicion lead to horrible decisions and the pity of it is, that these things cannot be confined to, The Twilight Zone!
