The Playground DilemmaThe Swing Hog!Little Timmy loves the swing! But today, Timmy's been swinging for way too long. Other kids are waiting, and it's not fair. What should happen? This introduces the idea of rules (taking turns), rights (everyone's right to play), and responsibilities (sharing and being considerate of others). Lily, Ben, and Maya, are waiting patiently, but they're starting to feel left out. Timmy is so caught up in his own fun, he doesn't seem to notice.

A Rule is RememberedLily remembers something important! There's a sign right here that says, "Please Take Turns on the Swings!" It's a rule that everyone is supposed to follow. This rule is there to make sure everyone gets a chance to have fun. Lily, Ben, and Maya have the right to play on the swing too, but Timmy's not giving them a chance!

Responsibility in ActionSharing is Caring Lily politely reminds Timmy about the rule. At first, Timmy is a little disappointed, but then he realizes that it's not fair to keep the swing all to himself. He gets off the swing and says, "Okay, it's your turn, Lily!" Timmy is showing responsibility by following the rules and being considerate of others. Now, everyone can enjoy the playground!
