- Stanley Yelnats was blamed for stealing Clild liveingson's shoes.He is on the bus to camp Green lake where he is going to dig holes.This is all because of his no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather.

- Stanley made a friend named Zero.He dosn't know how to read so Stanley is teaching him.Zero is going to dig part of Stanley's hole in return.

- Zero hit mr.Pendankei in the face with a shovel because he did not want to dig anymore holes.Mr.Pendackei was knocked out.Zero ran away from camp.
