- Nick was waiting for Gatsby to come get him to hang around.
- As they drive to their location Gatsby talks about his life to clarify the rumours about himself. To nick all of it seemed improbable.
- Gatsby introduces nick to meyer wolfsheim to do his stories. They also happen to meet tom there.
- After his meeting gatsby, nick went to meet with jordan and she tells him about what she and gatsby talked about in the party. She tells him about the past of daisy and gatsby.
- The flashback of when everything changed in gatsby and became about daisy when they kissed.
