This is the stamp act (1765.) colonists didn’t agree with the stamp act as it taxed them unfairly and also against their consent and they weren't getting representation. This is the reason for the phrase “taxation without representation”
This is because of the boston tea party. They closed our ports and gave us these laws!!
They’re punishing us for protesting about the unfair taxes!
The intolerable acts were also called “coercive acts” and were a series of laws that were passed by the British parliament in 1774 to punish the American colonies (Massachusetts particularly) for the Boston Tea Party. These laws closed Boston ports and restricted colonial government. The laws also allowed British soldiers to be housed in private homes. This caused the colonists to become angry with this and made them come together to go against British rule which pushed them closer to the revolution.

we need to go against the intolerable acts. this isn’t fair!
Lets first deal with the intolerable acts and then we’ll find more ways to resist British rule.
