- Emilie rides Joey in her yard while Topthorn follows them closely. The nurses and doctors from the war told them that they could keep the horses. But the was continued.
- The was kept on getting worse and Joey and topthorn's conditions get on getting worse, but they kept on trying to survive. A new horse and two little ponies are introduced. Coco and the little halfingers.
- Joey and topthorn survived and met an old man who took great care of them, but he loves topthorn more than anything. Their times with the old guy might end.
