- An alarm clock transforms chemical energy in a battery to mechanical and sound energy. A Lamp transforms electrical energy from an outlet to thermal and radiant energy.
- I barely got enough sleep. Does not matter though, I promised my friend I would meet him at the park
- Be careful at the park today son
- Ok mom, also thanks for the toast
- A toaster transforms electrical energy from an outlet to thermal energy which heats up bread slices.
- Look who it is. You two should go wander off somewhere else.
- How about this, lets race to that mountain over there and whoever gets there first stays here.
- Uhh... sure why not
- I'm more than certain they will beat us there easily.
- When riding a bicycle or doing any type of physical activity, a person transforms potential energy, specifically chemical energy, into mechanical energy/kinetic energy as well as thermal energy.
- Plants such as trees use radiant energy from the sun and transform it into chemical energy.
- Weird I am neck in neck with this guy. It feel as if everything around me moves slower than normal.
- The sun transforms nuclear energy from the splitting of hydrogen atoms into radiant energy as well as thermal energy which gets transferred to humans as heat and causes perspiration.
- That toast must have given me more speed and reaction time. I am almost at the mountain although I could use a drink.
- Argh... guess I'll just leave then
