- Bodh Raj was a very calous and vindictive boy. He always carried a catapult.
- Even his mother called him "Rakshasa"
- Bodh Raj tried to hit the kite. Bodh Raj rescues the chicks nest from the storeroom to the garage..
- A big kite had flew into the storeroom and was circling around the chicks nest. The narrator was affraid that Bodh Raj would kill the birds with his catapult.
- Bodh Raj knew a lot of information about birds. He was able to identify the Ganga myna.
- The narrator was shocked by Bodh Raj's change of heart. The next time Bodh raj came, he had neither the catapult nor pebbles. He brought some seeds for the chicks and they both watched the chicks antics.
