- Romeo decides to go to a party with Benvolio and Mercutio, in hopes of seeing Rosaline, who he is in love with.
- He that hath the steerage of my course direct my sail. On, lusty gentlemen.
- At the party, Romeo and Juliet see each other and fall in love at first sight
- For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night.
- Juliet asks her nurse who Romeo is, and is heartbroken when she finds out he is a Montague, and an enemy of her and her family
- My only love sprung from my only hate!
- His name is Romeo, and a Montague, the only son of your great enemy.
