The Piano Recital (Part 2)

Later, after some deep thinking and affirming myself, I realized I would be fine. I knew my piece well, I was dressed nicely, and I was pretty certain I wouldn't throw up. And now, people are crowding into the assembly, pianos are getting set up, cameras are being turned on. After many months of endless practice and emotion, this was the final show. It was my time to shine.

And.. I DID IT! And, to my surprise, I didn't mess up! When I went backstage, my piano instructor told me that was the best time I played it. I was so happy! When everyone finished their piece, we got to take pictures, eat a variety of different foods, and just had a whole bundle of fun! I will never regret my time at piano class. Especially because it led to this special day!

When I got home, I thought to myself. Wow, isn't that something? When I stopped thinking so negatively, I was able to do better than I ever did before! So now, whenever I think I can't do something, or if I'm not good enough, I try to throw the bad thoughts away and think of how good it will be when I do what I want/need to do. When you believe in yourself, you can achieve your goals!
