- The parable of the wise and foolish builders. Matthew 7:24-27
- This beach looks like a great place to build my house!
- This rocky ground will be perfect for my house!
- The rain came down, the land flooded and the winds blew.
- My poor, poor house!
- Excuse me, did I miss something?
- The wise man built his house upon the rock. The rock represents your faith. If your faith is strong then you will be able to persevere through the hard times in your life. If your faith isn't strong, like the sand that the foolish man built his house on, then you will collapse like his house.
