- But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn't burn. In fact, there was another being in the furnace with them.
- King Nebuchadnezzar creates a golden statue so that the people worship it.
- Oh no! I need to bow down!
- But 3 men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who refused to worship and bow down to it. This infuriated King Nebuchadnezzar.
- So he put them in a furnace so hot that it killed the guards putting them in.
- The king, surprised that they didn't die, calls them out.
- Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego! Come out!
- They got out of the furnace without a single burn, no ash, and not even the smell of smoke.
- King Nebuchadnezzar then declare that anyone who says anything agains their God would be cut to pieces and then promoted them.
