- SIDE
- The side of a polygon is any of the line segments that make up the polygon.

- VERTEX
- The vertex of a polygon is the point where two or more segments meet. On a solid figure, the vertex is the point where three or more edges meet.

- The apex is the vertex at the tip of a pyramid or a cone.

- The face of a polyhedron is one of the flat surfaces. All polyhedron faces are polygons.
