  • Hello ma'am, we have a warrant on this little piece of paper that allows us to search your house for a suspected bomb! Let us in.

  • On May 23, 1957 Two police men had arrived to Dollree's map with suspicion of a bomb, they forced her to let them in with a small paper that was supposed to be a warrant, while not giving her a chance to look.

  • When the officers let themselves in the house, they had started to begin searching around her house without full permission, they didn't let her see the warrant they supposedly had.

  • The evidence is clear! We found it during a search for a Bomb.. Oh...
  • In 1961 after successfully being able to retry the case in front of the supreme court, They had listened, and in the end the votes had been 5-3 by the justices in favor of Dollree Mapp. The high court said the evidence seized unlawfully, without a search warrant, could not be used in criminal prosecutions in state courts. Therefore, dismissing the case entirely.
