- The Bunratty Castle is one of Irelands best-known attractions. It is the most popular castle visited in Ireland. Ireland had 11.2 million tourists last year. This is six percent more than in 2017.
- Bunratty Castle has lots to do. You can sit in the lord's chair and see the dungeons were they kept prisoners. There are holes in the walls you can use as toilets.
- Bunratty Castle is one of the largest in Ireland. The Castle was built in 1250 as a fortress. In 1332 the castle was destroyed. Then 21 years later it was rebuilt.
