- RISING ACTION
- LA CoP makes Rue Miller, detective III, in charge of newly assigned Detective I, Koda Floria. This happens at a murder scene in which Rue and Koda get put on the case.
- CLIMAX
- Rue and Koda meet up with a witness named Luis Donnelly, a rugged wannabe rock star, who was present the night of the victim's murder. Koda feels jealous of his looks and muscles because Rue seems to be interested in him.
- FALLING ACTION
- While Rue and Koda are gathering clues, another body is found that seems to correlate with the last murder. They go to the crime scene and figure out that the same suspect for the last murder is seems to be guilty for this as well.
- RESOLUTION
- They get a lead from Luis Donnelly about a possible location and time the next murder will take place, only to find out that their original suspect didn't commit the murders at all and it was Luis. They go to where they expected Luis to be a stop him before he commits another murder
- Police come and arrest Luis Donnelly while Rue and Koda stand on the side. CoP thanks them for their hard work.
- Koda starts to leave the crime scene and heads towards a nearby park, feeling proud but with a hint of sadness. Unexpectedly, Rue comes by and sits next to them. She explains her feelings for them and gives them a kiss. She then leaves.
