  • With a healthy body composition there are more muscles with less fat and other body parts with less fat.

  • There are three general body types, ectomorph, endomorph, and mesomorph. Ectomorphs' body typesis characterized by a lower percentage of body fat, small bone size, and a small amount of muscle size and mass. Endomorphs' are characterized by practically the opposite of ectomorphs'. And Mesomorphs' are characterized as well-proportioned.
  • Common Injuries
  • Describing the percentages of bone, fat, water, and muscle in the body, a healthy body composition consists of a lower percentage of body fat and higher percentage of fat-free muscles; muscles, bones, organs. And benefits include higher metabolism, lower risk of cardiovascular disease, longer lifespan, and reduced chance of type 2 diabetes.
  • The three basic things to avoid injury are to warm-up beforehand stretch, those types of things, drink a minimum of one cup of fluid, best is water every 20 minutes, and to do a cool-down afterwards.
  • Cool Down
  • Common injuries such as muscle strains, muscle sprains, blister, and skin splints can be helped using the RICE method. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.
