- Sarah had been barren her whole life. She and Abraham wanted a baby more than anything. But Sarah was too old now.
- You will have a baby boy named Issac.
- God called Abraham to bring him and Sarah good news. He made a covenant with Abraham. That sarah would have a baby boy.

- Over time Sarah grew impatient with God. God had yet to give her a child. So Sarah Gave her handmaiden to Abraham to have a child,
- Hagar had Abrahams son named Ishmeal. God was upset with Abraham and Sarah because this was not how they intened for them to have children. God made Ishmeal no longer Abrahams heir.
- Years and years go by. Sarah was now 90 years old. She had no chance of having a child.
- God called upon Abraham to make a covenant with him. Promising a child to Sarah and Abraham. Sarah was listening to this from afar.
