"You're going to the theater to see the Seven Castles, and I shall go, for mother said i might see it."
"You can't sit with us, for our seats are reserved, and you mustn't sit alone;"
"I burned it up."
"What! My little book I was so fond of, and worked over, and meant to finish before Father got home?"
"You know something about it, and you 'd better tell me at once , or I'll make you."
Meg and Jo get ready to see a show with their friend Laurie. Amy walks into the room and asks if she can sit and watch with them. However, they have already reserved their seats and she cannot sit with them.
As Meg and Jo leave, Amy decided she will get revenge for Jo not letting her sit with them. She burns joe's manuscript in the fire place, something she had been working on for years.
"I let the sun go down on my anger; I wouldn't forgive her and if toda, it hadn't been for Laurie I might have been too late. How could I have been so wicked."
The next day, Amy, Beth, and Meg were all sitting together.
While Laurie and Jo are iceskating, Amy tries to tag along. But Jo ignores her. As Jo and Laurie continue to iceskate, Amy falls through the ice.
After the incident at the lake, Jo feels guilty for not forgiving Amy.
I chose this chapter because it represents how strong the bond between the sisters is. No matter how big of an issue they come across, they manage to get passed it because of how much they all care for eachother.
