- Hello there, would you like to try and bend this pine tree? It shows great strength.
- Cut to full shot
- Narrator: Completing his first task, we find Theseus on the road again, where he finds Sinis the Pine-Bender awaiting his arrival. Action: Theseus walks toward the camera finding Sinis lurking.
- Cut to mid shot
- Narrator: Sinis the Pine-Bender tried to trick Theseus by making him think he was being praised for his strength to bend a pine tree, knowing this would quickly result in his death.Action: Sinis leads Theseus to a strong pine tree.
- Mid shot
- Narrator: Sinis attempts to bring Theseus to the end of his life.Action: Theseus walks towards the pine tree knowing this must be another trick.
- Cut to full shot; slow zoom in and focus on Sinis
- Another one defeated!
- Narrator: Not convinced of the story Sinis has spun, Theseus takes matters in to his own hands.
- Is this the tree you want me to bend?I'll show him!
- Narrator: Theseus escapes another labor on the road to Athens by turning SInis trick on himself. Action: Grabbing Sinis and strapping him to the tree, Theseus catapults him to his death.
- Narrator: Theseus has defeated yet another foe, achieving greatness along the way to Athens. The next time we see him, he will be facing the gallows once again. Will he defeat his next challenge? Stay tuned and find out...
