- In this box it shows the Cherokee talking to the British about the Cherokee treaty. The Cherokee Treaty was a treaty that the British wanted the Cherokee to sign. It basically said that the Cherokee could not trade with the French. The British now thought they they were in controll of the Cherokee since they signed the treaty. When the Cherokee signed the treaty the British protect the Cherokee until the bond was broken.
- No Protection for the Cherokee
- Look you're not protecting us when the French and Indians attack us.
- Well you took our settelers horses.
- Since the Cherokee signed the treaty the British protected the cherokee and peace ensued for 30 years. Sadly the peace was broken during the French and Indian War. Since the Cherokee signed the treaty they thought of it as an alliance, but the British thought of it as superiority. Since they both thought of it as something good they had 30uyears of peace with each other. All of this was about to change because of the French and Indian War.

- During the French Indian War the Native Americans helped the French fight the British. The British won and then made the colonist pay back the war debts. The British then stopped protecting the Cherokee. After the French and Indian War the Cherokee was mad that they stopped protecting them so they revolted.

- Well you didn't protect us so we wanted to revolt against you.

- The Cherokee was mad so they took the settlers horses. The Britishgot mad so they stopped protecting the Cherokee. This caused the Cherokee to be angry then they wanted to rebolt. They made up a plan to fight the British. This is how the Cherokee War started.

- The Cherokee war started because the British failed to protect the Cherokee. With the guns they got from trading they started to fight the British. They lost land but kept fighting. They were really angry with the British so they gave it all they got. Sadly the Cherokee lost the war.

- The Cherokee lost their land. They lost the war and the British took over their land. The British was upset with the Cherokee so they didn't spair them much land. The British then made a bunch of laws towards the Colonists.
