However, Josh actually has ADHD.
Fortunately, there are ways to combat the unfocused mind of someone with ADHD.
Typically prescribed by doctors, stimulants are a form of medication typically used by people with ADHD.
What's ADHD?
Now I know what you may be thinking. Josh is just a lazy teenager who wasn't raised right.
A popular choice, is medication.

Many side effects include a loss of appetite, dry throat, headaches, etc.
Though they do have the intended effect, helping people who take them focus on their task, it has been proven that many stimulants have negative side effects.
For example, it is harder to focus on stuff like schoolwork and chores.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or ADHD, is a mental disorder that affects the way someone's brain works.

But that begs the question, should medication for ADHD be mandatory?
Ultimately, it should be up to the ones who are taking the medication.
While we should encourage the taking of medication, we shouldn't force the medication and its symptoms on people. Especially if they couldn't handle them.
