- ¨So this is a meeting to find out what´s what. I´ll tell what´s what. You littluns started all this, the fear talk. Beast! Where from? Of course We´re frightended. Only Ralph says you scream in the night. What does that mean but nightmares? Anyway you don´t hunt or build or help-you´re a lot of cry babies and sissies. That´s what. And as for the fear-- you´ll have to put up with the rest of us.¨
- This is Pivitol moment for Jack because this is his way of breaking off from the group and seperating himself. In the start of the story Jack was just trying to be like all of the other kids now he is trying to be a leader.
