- Wiggins has been to report. He says no trace can be found of the Aurora.
- Watson reports to Mary and Mrs Forrester.
- And two knights to the rescue
- It is a romance! An injured lady, half a million in treasure
- The next morning, there is still no news...
- You are knocking yourself up, old man. I heard you marching about in the night.
- I could not sleep. This infernal problem is consuming me.
- At dawn, Watson awakes to find Holmes standing over him.
- "I'm off down the river Watson."
- Sherlock has sent Athelney Jones a wire telling him to come to Baker Street.
- I should be very glad of a little assistance. Mr Sherlock Holmes is a wonderful man.
- An aged man, clad in seafaring garb turns up.
- Wait a bit my friend.
- If Mr Holmes ain't here, then Mr Holmes must find it all out for himself.
