- My name is James Clinton Neill and I command the Alamo
- I am Jim Bowie and have been sent by Sam Houston to make a decision about what to do here
- I am Davy Crockett and have arrived with some Tennessee volunteers
- I am William B. Travis and have arrived from Alabama to help you command this army
- James Clinton Neill commanded an army at a mission in San Antonio called the Alamo
- I am sick and am going to leave commands to you
- Jim Bowie arrives to see if the Texans should stay and fight or burn the Alamo and leave
- Us soldiers want William Travis to command us
- Us volunteers want Bowie to command us
- Davy Crockett arrives with Tennessee volunteers to help fight. William Travis comes to help command the army with Colonel James Neill
- I need to write to the nearest town and ask for reinforcements
- James Clinton Neill becomes ill and gives commands to William Travis and then leaves.
- The volunteers and soldiers vote on who commands them. William Travis commands the soldiers and Jim Bowie commands the volunteers.
- William Travis sends various letters to near towns asking for reinforcements
