- Don Julian and Carmen talked about Esperanza and Alfredo’s long engagement and how it changed throughout the years.
- What happened with Alfredo and Esperanza? Why isn’t Alfredo taking their engagement onto the next level? I can’t remember him having any affairs either!
- How sure are you with that, Papa? Are you sure that Esperanza is not in a rush and doesn’t have any plans of marriage? Or is it because Alfredo is not showing any signs that Esperanza notices?
- The two are not in a rush, Carmen. Let them be.
- After their parting, Alfredo overheard Esperanza talking to someone that led to a heated argument between the two.
- Alfredo met Julia Salas when he went neighbouring with Don Julian.

- Alfredo, this is my sister-in-law, Julia.

- Lovely to meet the two of you. I see your sister-in-law is here as well.

- Julia and Alfredo instantly became close after the latter’s “neighbouring”. Days passed and the two became intimately closer to each other.

- There is no need. Besides that, you have to prepare for your nearing wedding. My best wishes and regards to the two of you.
- Days after, Julia had something to reveal to Alfredo.
- Alfredo, this is my last time with you. I have to go back to my hometown by tomorrow.
