  • With the help of other political reformers, the Athenian voting system was perfected.
  • To make things more fair, we shall be ruled by a council of 500 randomly selected citizens. They will be chosen in a process called sortition, and there will be 50 council members from each tribe of Athens.

  • In conclusion, the invention of voting systems in Ancient Athens has had a tremendously important effect both on the modern and ancient worlds. It is considered to be on the most historical significant events in history because modern countries take it as an inspiration for their own democracies, and the fact that it was considered an important an innovation by ancient Athenians. First introduced in the 6th century BCE, democracy has gone on to shape both the ancient and modern world.
