- During this war the french wanted more land in the America's but England the colonists were already there and seeking more land. The French teamed up with the Native Americans, the war lasted 7 years. England and the colonists won.
- Battle of Yorktown 1781
- Surrender!!
- The colonists were being taxed harshly becuase of the French-Indian war. The colonists had no representation in England to fight against these taxes so they took it into their own hands.
- Treaty Of Paris 1781
- I'm here to sign the treaty.
- there was a split between the colonists, one half of the people were patriots who wanted to have their own government and start a reolution. While the others, the Loyalists, were loyal to England and wanted to stay underneath Englands rule.
- A new constitution 1787
- The Bill Of Rights....
- This is the last battle of the American Revolution. The British fought hard but the colonists fought harder and eventually Britian's army surrendured to Washington. This was the battle to end the war and start a new beggining for the colonists people and their new nation.
- This event individualized America as a nation and it's own country away from Britian and their polotics.
- This was the new constitution/set of rules that America had forged for their new nation. Some of the pieces like Bill of Rights included new rules about life, liberty, and property. There was also new freely elected goverment officials.
