- The trees were swaying in the forceful breeze.
- Emma stared out the window, fixated on what was occurring outside.
- Wow...
- It seemed as if all seven houses in the neighborhood shook as the wind rattled through chimneys and thunder shattered eardrums.
- BOOM!!!!
- Lightning struck a palm tree in front of the house, a quick but brutal attack.
- All the calmness and bravery that Emma tried to keep throughout the storm immediately disappeared.
- She rapidly dialed the fire department.
- 5 Minutes Later
- The victim tree erupted into fierce flames.
- She ran into her parents' home office, and snatched a phone off the desk.
- A fire engine pulled up quickly, and successfully extinguished the fire.
- There's a fire at my house!
