Dans le livre, Walk Two Moons, Sal déménage de Bybanks, Kentucky à Euclid, Ohio et se lance dans un voyage à travers le pays avec ses grands-parents. Dans cette activité, les élèves peuvent utiliser une carte pour identifier et illustrer les différents endroits que Sal et ses grands-parents ont visités en cours de route.

- Dear Dad,Gram, Gramps, and I went to see the Old Faithful geyser at Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. At first it was only spitting but then it was like a tea kettle blew its top and a huge jing-bang spray of water came out! Gram said "It looks like an upsidey-down waterfall!" I miss you. I hope you and Margaret are having a swell time.Love,Sal
