- First we begin by cleaning ourselves and dressing up.

- Then we show the animal off with ribbons.
- The animal is lead in a procession. There is the priest, a maiden with barley and a knife, a flute player, a water carrier, and an incense carrier.
- 🎀
- The musician's playing soothes the animal. The procession's destination is an altar.
- A fire is lit on the altar and each participant purifiesthemselves by rinsing their hands in water. This began the ceremony.
- The victim is sprinkled with water. The cow nodded which showed its consent to be sacrified.
