- Major John Pitcairn. The British losed with 73 dead and 200 wounded. This battle was important because it was on of the the first battles of the American Revolution.
- Battle of Yorktown
- Ethan Allen. The British won the hill. They lost twice but won the third time. A lot of people died. This fight gave the British a slight advantage.

- Benedict Arnold The British struck at the Americans again on October 7. Burgoyne surrendered on October 17.

- Nathanael Greene. Benedict Arnold. The British Parliament officially voted to end the war. The Cornwallis had no choice but to surrender.This is important because the Battle of Yorktown was the last major battle of the war. Also people from around the world got inspired from America’s example and fought for their own freedom.
