Storyboard Text
- The King Porsenna has offered to exchange hostages for the withdraw of his troops. I, Cloelia, am one of the girls he is offering. Mucius has been my inspiration to escape.
- I have realized the Etruscan camp is near the Tiber. Since we have escaped from the guards, we must swim across this river. It will be hard, though, there are many spears, but, we will soon reach safety in Rome.
- It is I, King Porsenna! I demand that you return, Cloelia!
- But, I will honor you by sending you home with other hostages of your choice. Your deed is greater than the deed of Cocles and Mucius.
- Our friendship has been restored and treaty has been renewed.
- We the citizens of Rome honor Cloelia by setting up a statue seated on a horse in the Forum.
