I read comics and I thought the comic format would be fun to do!
Storyboard Text
- We often ask ourselves, how did it come to this? living deep underground for protection.
- We know the answer!
- What we took for granted, we can never get back. The smiles...the laughter...gone.
- We use to tell ourselves, It could not rain all the time...Eventually the sun would shine...But now...
- The world has come to an end.
- Me too!
- I am dead
- Even while at the precipice of doom, countries insisted on the right to respond in line with their own self interest.
- While the western world was occupied in figuring out what a woman was, and defunding the police, climate change was left in the back burner.
- In other news, overconsumption of coffee, has endangered 60% of coffee plant species. Over fishing is threatening aquatic populations in the fishing industry, especially in Asian regions. Who's taste, often includes aquatic mammals.
- Developed nations demand that developing nations curb their harmful environmental practices.
- The destruction of millions of dollars of clothes every year by retailers, is an industry wide standard.
- No matter the semantics from a PR talking head, waste, is waste!
- What's the big deal, we need to protect our IP, and the exclusivity of our brand. That means no discounts!
- I feel bad, but my kids need to eat!
- In order to make a living, we are harming Terra
- According to a study by the Harvard School of Public Health, air pollution from traffic congestion in urban areas contributes to more than 2,200 premature deaths annually in the United States alone. As more people decide that roads and highways are the fastest way to travel to work, more cars end up on the roads, ultimately slowing down traffic and polluting the air.
- In drought-prone areas, the risk for water shortage is high and restrictions are often put in place to mitigate it. Some individuals, however, ignore water restrictions and the supply ultimately becomes smaller for everyone.
- We are in a desert, it is suppose to be dry.
- Babe, keep watering until it is green!
- And then this happened.....
- Using a security dilemma, as a reason to start war, Russia decided to attack Ukraine setting off the events that would lead to a dying Earth.
- With US aid, Ukraine was able to stave off their bigger neighbor, and inflict wounds in to its leaders pride.
- You have extended this war by providing various aid to Ukraine. You will see retaliation the likes of which you will regret!
- Peace Talks
- Whether it was right or wrong, Ukraine got its wish as US troops came to the country's aid. The rest of east Europe decided it was time to join the United Nations. Further fueling Russia's aggression.
- Good God, this man should not remain in power!
- This conflict was fought because Russia wanted to bring back the old Russian empire. As the U.N. troops pushed deep into Russian territory. Their leader got desperate.
- China is joining the war on Russia's side. The red line is their path towards Europe. The blue line indicates UN troop movements!
- China used this opportunity to invade Taiwan, while aiding Russia on Russian territory.
- Another world war, in Europe. Why is it always Europe!
- Fire the Tsar Bomba! Target the most populated capital cities of both the US and UN!
- In retaliation, the western powers deployed their nuclear arsenal...
- The fallout combined with climate change led to runaway green house furthering the mass extinctions that followed. What remained of humanity went underground, awaiting the inevitable!
- Cities were destroyed. Governments fell. As Infrastructure and resources were destroyed or contaminated by nuclear fallout, civilization regressed to the survival of the fittest.
- I had the worst nightmare ever honey!
- There is still time!At the precipice we change. We have to change. If earth dies, we die.Fin
