- Ichabod Crane meets Katrina Van Tassel. Ichabod Crane wants to marry Katrina. He wants to marry her not because of her love, but because of her wealthiness and riches. There is also another person called Brom Bones that we will know about a little later.
- Climax
- Katrina Van Tassel meets someone called Brom Bones. Brom Bones also wants to marry Katrina. But he wants to marry her not because of her wealth, but because of her love. Katrina also likes Brom, so she rejects Ichabod Crane. Ichabod was very sad, so he went into the woods.
- Falling Action
- Where'd he go?!
- Once he came in the woods riding his horse, he saw a headless horseman! He was absolutely terrified, so he tried to run away.
- Resolution
- Oh no! Ichabod Crane wasn't safe! The headless horseman threw a pumpkin at him! Ichabod was hurt and was so scared that he ran away from the whole village!
- Ichabod Crane's disappearance left the whole village worried! Nobody knows where he is now.
- Ichabod Crane was no where to be found, and at last Katrina Van Tassel and Brom Bones got married.
