It's because you got the lead role. I should have! I'm a better singer than you.
Gina recognized some signs of potential conflict. She decides to ask Tina about her recent behaviors.

You are a better singer. Maybe they wanted something else too?
Whatever. I don't care, I'm going to quit anyway.
Gina decides to complement Tina to try to make her feel better because acting is very important to her.

I don't think you should quit. You're really good. I know the lead is gone, but there's a lot of other parts. I could help you go over the lines.
Maybe you're right. I'm just disappointed. I'll take all the help I can get.
