- Am I getting the most out of myself? Is this where I want to finish my career?
- I do well here.
- D, why did you go Cal Poly if you're just going to end up here?
- You do great here, but you're supposed to be somewhere else.
- I've been at UPS for 7 years, they've taken care of me. Do I have enough courage to take the risk, and start again?
- Shoot the ball D!
- You're good with kids Diaz, but if you want find a few things out before you leave UPS, then maybe you should substitute to see if it's truly for you.
- You think I'm being crazy trying to make this move at my age?
- Mom, I'm thinking of trying teaching. I'm nervous to leave UPS behind though.
- No matter what you choose to do, I'll be here to support your choices. Whatever you choose, it'll be the best choice.
- Everyone thinks I should try. I can't leave a "what if?" I'll give it a shot, and see what I discover
- Hi!, I'm here to tun in my paperwork to be a substitute teacher.
- We're glad to have you, let's process this, and you'll begin next month.

- 1 Month Later
- Mr. Diaz, I need help...
- You've been subbing for a week dude, what do you think?
- I tell you Ax, I think I'm not long for this place. It's way different than managing and processing these boxes.
- 2 weeks later
- Dave, I think it's time to move on. I know it's been 7 years, but I feel the call in teaching.

- 2 years later, and 4 months into a long term assignment

- I asked questions, and didn't hesitate to listen to advice about the profession.

- I immersed myself in the school culture, so I can gain a true understanding of how to provide service to others. Even Dance Contests!
- Let's get ready to get our work done men!
- Coaching at the school for these past several years has provided me with some of the greatest personal rewards I've experienced in my life.
- Hey Coach, When are you just going to get your credential?
- The time will pass like you wouldn't believe, you'll never regret it. I mean you're here all the time already. Go get that last piece
- I want to Coach Omar, but I haven't been in school for long time.
- 2 weeks later...
- Hello National...
- Here I was... A student once again!
- 6 Months Later... on August 4th (My birthday)
- Yes Sir, I'll do what I have to do.
- Raul, I need you to take over ASB while the director is on maternity leave. I know you're doing your school work, but we know you can handle it.
- My greatest achievement thus far was the relationships and accomplishments I made with my kids in ASB. In 6 short months, we built an unforgettable experience.
- 11 months after I started the credential program at National.
- Mom! I finished my credential work! I'm ready to intern!
- Yeah!! So what's next?...
- Yes sir. In the mean time, I'll start working on my Master's degree!
- Dr. Merlos, I just wanted to let you know that I'm ready to start.
- You've worked very hard to get here, and you've done so much for Miller. The second something opens up, your number will be called.
- 4 Months Later...
- At moment, I'm learning to make a storyboard for Dr. Oliver, waiting for my next step...
