- I brought something called the Monkey's paw. It allows the man who posses it to make three wishes. I was going to through it in the fire tonight. It is dangerous.
- Father wish for something sensible like two hundred pounds.

- I am so sorry to tell you but, your son has died. He was caught in the machinery at work. Here is two hundred pounds for compensation.
- If the Monkey's paw took Herbert away then the monkey's paw can bring him back. Wish on the paw to bring him back.

- I am coming Herbert
- Then the knocking stopped. The End
