Deja de zece ani începe clasa a cincea la o școală nouă. Lucrurile sunt grele acasă: Pop este mereu bolnav și trist, mama este mereu la serviciu și Deja are mereu grijă de fratele ei și de sora ei mai mică în timp ce Pop doarme.
