- The Priest greets the parents and the child, He hears the name of the child.
- The Priest then makes the sign of the cross on the babies forehead.
- The Priest then offers readings and prayers for the child and his or her parents.
- The Priest then anoints the child with holy oil.
- The Priest will then bless the water.
- The Priest will then ask the Childs parents to renounce sin.
- The priest will then baptise the baby with the water he blessed before.
- The Priest anoints the child with oil from his crown.
- The Child must be dressed in a white Christening gown or other white garment.
- A family member or godparent lights a candle that symbolises enlightenment
- The Priest will then say the lords prayer.
- And finally he will bless the child.
