I should take a shortcut home... it's creepy out here.
AH!!!
Who are you? Are you lost?
I can help you find her.
M-my name's Alice a-and I can't find my mom... I thought you were my mom but then I got lost...
Poor girl, she's probably so scared. I should help her before I go home.
R-really?
Daniel was nervous walking home, every blow of the wind made him more tense. He swear he felt like something was following him and decided to take a shortcut home.
Did your mom have an hobbies?
The pond! That's it!
Yeah! My mommy really loves to swim! We used to come to this forest all of the time...
Cutting through the thick trees, he saw someone. He jumped back, startled, but soon realized it was a little girl. It was a ghost. She was alone and seemed kind of, lost?
I'm glad I could help, oh! Here's your glasses back.
Are you sure? Thank you so much! I'll be on my way now.
Oh my glasses! You can keep them. They'll be of more use to you than me.
Mommy!!
Sweetie! Oh I couldn't thank you enough for bringing her back to me.
Daniel asked her some questions to see if he could help her. Then the little girl told him that her name was Alice and she couldn't find her mother. Alice said that she though he was her mom for a while because he was wearing her glasses.  Daniel soon come to the conclusion that he would return her to her mother.
What did you do yesterday that's got you in such a good mood?
Nothing! I just had a really good night's sleep.
Daniel walked through the forest for a while, trying to find Alice's mother. They strolled through the trees and Alice told him that her mom loved the water. Daniel had an idea of where her mother might be.
Once they reached the pond, there was Alice's mother sitting on the peer with her feet dangling off the edge. Alice's mother thanked Daniel and he tried to give her the glasses back but she insisted that he kept them.
Daniel met up with Martin again the next day, and he was curious of why Daniel was in such a chipper mood. Yet no matter how many times Martin asked Daniel wouldn't tell his little secret through the looking glass.
