- 'Reservation' was introduced in the Constitution after Independence.
- It helped the most socially exploited & oppressed sections(SCs & STs) to enter schools.
- helping them choose their own jobs..
- ..freeing them from jobs that enslaved them..
- RESERVATION=REPRESENTATIONOFEXISTENCE=LIFEOF DIGNITY
- To be continued..
- ...which would eventually build up to representation in social, economical, cultural & political spheres.
- Oh! Now I understand sir.. But the scenario is different now so why do we still need 'Reservation'?
