Creon questions Antigone about breaking the law. Antigone bodily admits she knew the order but believes god's law is important. Creon grows angrier and says she disrespects him openly.

Creon accuses her of helping Antigone. Ismene tries to lie by confessing that she helped Antigone bury their brother, polyneices . Antigone refuses ismene confession- saying she acted alone. But ismene pleads to die with her sister.
