- the theme is lonely because the story is passing time with clock keeping time a house with robot mice and dog who tries and saves the house but ends up dying trying to save it but the house has no one in it it just alone
- The personification of the story would be the house. The house is given feelings and houses don't have feelings. The has feeling throughout the whole story.
- My inference is that the house has been abandoned for a period of time and the house has been lonely. The house has been roamed of robot mice and they clean like a maid
