I study zoology, and my brother studies astronomy.
One Muslim design called arabesque was made with nature. Artists would craft leaves, stems, flowers, and tendrils into beautiful patterns. Muslim artists would carve, paint, or wove arabesques designs into items.
Muslim leaders built libraries, schools, colleges, and other forms of places to learn. Baghdad grew into one of the largest cities in the world. Baghdad was a great place for education!
Muslims were very curious about Earth because of the Qur'an. This caused Muslims to study and advance science. Some common Muslim science fields include zoology, astronomy, or building irrigation and underground wells.
