- Rising Tension ~ The story begins with a woman receiving mail--it happens nearly daily. Nothing odd, just random objects. Yet, the days progress and she throws the package away.
- Climax ~ Nearly a week of the woman not opening the mail, it ends up inside her house. Incredibly odd, yes. Frightened by the mail, she opens it and inside it says "Why aren't you opening it?" with ink smeared all over the paper.
- Ending ~ The story ends with a missing poster of the woman. It hadn't been anything though. The stalker? Never there, only a mysterious entity that seemed to have resented the woman to the point of removing her from the sight of the world--perhaps the thought of only keeping her presence to itself.
- Setting(s) - Stone Stairs that lead to a brown, chipped up porch leading to a sage green door. Mood ~ Nearly dull. Only during the odd mail being sent does the mood change to a terrifying scene, others like during the disappearance of the woman does the mood switch to a sad scene depicting the family of the woman gathering near the post showing her missing poster.

- Front of her house. She lives in the city. The inside of her house is the unclearas not stated in the story.

- Though appearance is unstated, she is easier depicted with brown hair. Skin color can be seen as anything. Clothes aren't described not she would prefer more loosely fitted clothes.No name is given--she remains mysterious or can be named by the reader. Age - 24Job - Psychiatrist
- What the reader should know - Said woman has an ex. Said ex is dead and was incredibly possessive of said womanWhat the reader doesn't know - Said woman had been in lots of legal trouble back then and is incredibly paranoid over anything that appears as mail in or out her mail, though has recovered much more, she still struggles with differentiating between what's normal and what's out there to haunt her. Also that she lives mainly in the ghetto, so she only suspects the mail coming from some of her crazy neighbors.Literary Device used ~ Mood and Imagery (mostly at least..)
