Your money is worth nothing to me.
During the war, each state worked hard to help pay for their soldiers. States began to each print their own money. However, it was hard to make sure the money was worth something since each state had different money.

They are taking my land and personal possessions.
After the war, many farmers began to fall into debt due to taxes and loans taken out on their farms. With no money to pay for their farms, many farmers lost their land and/or ended up in jail.

We want to be treated equally as others.
The farmers were very sad and angry. They did not want to lose their farms. So they worked together. Many farmers came to the courthouses. They wanted to stop the judges from taking their land.

Soldiers came to stop the farmers. They wanted to control what was happening at the courthouse. The farmers were loud and upset. The soldiers tried to make everyone calm down.

They have a point. This calls for a convention
After a gun fight, the rebellion was over. The leaders listened to their concerns and called a convention. Leaders all over came to make changes to the Articles of Confederation

We are stronger and better than ever.
Instead of fixing the Articles of Confederation, the leaders created new rules for America: The Constitution.
