  • Selling is the act of selling a product or service to somebody. Like supermarkets selling toys or your parents hiring a babysitter for you when they go out for the night. If there was no selling there would be no toys and no one to watch you when your parents go out. And there would be no competition to make better toys
  • When approaching a customer it is important to have a good attitude to make the customer happy it's also important to. Your parents wouldn't buy you a toy if you demanded it. When determining needs remember who you are trying to sell to. An adult is not going to want a barbie doll and remember to ask open-ended questions. When presenting the product make sure that it works and that you know a lot about it. When overcoming objections make sure you are being nice and give a real reason they should buy your product. When closing the sale make sure the customer has no questions and make sure there isn't a better version best for the person. When suggesting selling you should use their shopping history to pick the items to sell to them and also make sure it's in their budget. When relationship building collects an email and make sure to send them relavent ads.

Presenting the product is showing the customer the product and giving them information about it. Overcoming objections is when someone has a reason not to buy something but you have to shoot down that reason. Closing the sale is verifying a purchase and addressing any concerns. Suggestion selling is suggesting a product based on purchasing history. Relationship building is staying in touch with the customers to keep them coming back and making satisfying purchases.
