The squirrel species, Red Squirrel, lives in the a forest. These squirrels have a number of predators in the forest. They're known to be an invasive species
Adaptation
If over population happens, there isn't enough food for every squirrel and most of them. These squirrels being an invasive species makes it worse fore them. They often get eaten by there predators.
Differential Survival
Not all squirrels are red, in fact the red squirrel is an invasive species and takes away the homes of the native species known as the grey squirrel. These aren't native to north America and makes competition between the two different species
Differential Reproduction
The red squirrels easily adapt to their environment, they do very well in forests, and similar biomes to these. They still do have to watch out for predators trying to eat them
The red squirrel has similar survive tactics to the grey squirrel they hide in trees to get away from predators. They use the height of the trees to their advantage.
Since they reproduce much quicker then the grey squirrel, they eat up a lot of the food sources faster to their counter part. These squirrels are known as rodents because of their high numbers.
